The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a fantastic option if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It gives a great mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.
In the course of testing, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard flooring. However, unlike other models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to map out your home.
1. iRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and cereal, or opt for two detailed maps of your space to ensure that your home is properly arranged.
This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models and can clean up pet hair without difficulty. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We like the claim, but not enough to justify a premium price.
Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. It can then clean your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and set up virtual boundary markers, so that it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.
The only issue is that it does not have an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's a small price to pay if you want to get one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank is also bigger than those on many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.
For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, produce very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch television without interruption. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture it gently bumps into it and then moves on.
The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the hidden bin and also washes and dry the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong for example, the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.
You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, removing dirt from carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an automatic cleaning station that cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready to be reused. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.
The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has faster battery charging and can handle a complete cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're not at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a set path.
The X2 Omni is the best robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well and it increases suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing a thorough job. It has a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice, but they also place the L10s in the luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.
Designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's highlighted by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop effectively and avoid getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability which clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stain. Its mops also do a great job and remove 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
